As a Veterinary Surgeon in our Norwich clinic, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of animals. You will be responsible for routine examinations, emergency care, and implementing treatment plans. An emphasis on teamwork and communication will enhance your experience and that of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Examine animals to diagnose their health conditions.
• Perform veterinary surgical procedures and treatments.
• Educate pet owners on health care and wellness.
• Manage pain control and medication protocols.
• Guide and mentor junior veterinary staff as needed.
• Implement and ensure compliance with clinic protocols.
• Monitor patient recovery and respond to complications.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Engage in continuous professional education to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Registered with RCVS

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in veterinary medicine

• Animal Surgery

Certifications

• Veterinary Surgeons' Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with exotic animals: Knowledge and experience in treating exotic and small furry pets.
