Panel Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Panel Machine Operator to join our dedicated team in Birmingham. You will play a critical role in operating and maintaining panel machines, ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Adjust panel machines and ensure correct settings are applied.
• Monitor the flow of materials and products through the production line.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery and report issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
• Assist in training new employees on machine operation.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to improve product standards.
• Track machine output and assist in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in manufacturing or related field

Experience

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Experience with specific machine brands/models
• Quality control principles

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in machine operation: Relevant certifications in operating machinery will be advantageous.
• Experience with CNC machines: Knowledge of operating CNC machines is a plus.
