Job Description

As a Certified Cytotechnologist at Health Diagnostics Ltd., you will play a critical role in the evaluation of cell samples to detect abnormalities, including cancer. The ideal candidate will possess a meticulous eye for detail and a passion for advancements in healthcare practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough microscopic evaluations of cellular samples.
• Utilise advanced staining techniques and laboratory protocols.
• Maintain and document accurate laboratory records and quality control.
• Participate in research projects aimed at improving diagnostic techniques.
• Communicate findings clearly and effectively to healthcare team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cytology, Biology, or a related field
• Higher qualifications in Cytopathology are preferable

Experience

• 2-3 years of relevant laboratory experience

Technical Skills

• ThinPrep and SurePath Systems
• Lab Information Management Systems (LIMS)

Certifications

• UKAS Training Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
