Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Certified Abuse and Drug Addiction Counselor to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide essential counseling services to individuals battling substance abuse and addiction, helping them to devise tailored treatment plans to foster recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and treatment goals.
  • Provide direct counselling and facilitate therapeutic groups.
  • Develop individualised treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Track client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
  • Engage families in the counselling process to support client recovery.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in treatment protocols and ethical practices.
  • Maintain and manage client documentation accurately and in compliance with data protection regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
  • Professional certification in substance abuse counselling
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in addiction counselling or related roles
