Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Epidemiologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting epidemiological studies and analysing medical data to identify patterns, causes, and risk factors of diseases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead epidemiological studies to assess disease incidence and prevalence.
  • Analyse large datasets and derive actionable insights on public health.
  • Work in tandem with interdisciplinary teams to assess health impacts.
  • Develop protocols for studies and ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences.
  • Mentor less experienced staff and interns in research methodologies.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote understanding of epidemiological findings.
  • Review and critique research proposals for funding opportunities.
  • Evaluate existing health programmes and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • Ph.D. in Epidemiology or related field preferred
Experience
  • 5 years or more in healthcare research and analysis.
