Job Description

We are in search of a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical practices and a passion for patient care. You will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications while supporting our pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy workspace.
  • Act as the first point of contact for patients seeking assistance in the pharmacy.
  • Liaise with insurance companies to ensure smooth processing of claims.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote health and wellness initiatives.
  • Assist in developing patient care plans and monitor patient progress.
  • Ensure the timely dispatch of medications to patients and healthcare facilities.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant pharmacy technician qualification or equivalent
  • Experience with clinical pharmacy systems is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience.
