Job Description

As a Soil Conservation Technician at Environmental Solutions Ltd., you will be responsible for implementing and managing soil conservation projects aimed at enhancing soil health and sustainability. Your role involves fieldwork, data analysis, and collaboration with landowners and local agencies to promote best practices in soil management.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular soil testing and analysis to assess chemical and physical properties.
  • Assist in the development and management of reforestation and land restoration projects.
  • Advise on the benefits of cover cropping and crop rotation techniques.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to raise awareness about soil conservation.
  • Analyze data from soil surveys to inform conservation strategies.
  • Create educational materials for outreach programs on soil health.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping for all soil conservation activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Environmental Science or related field preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental conservation or related field
