Job Description

We are seeking skilled Textile Cutting Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to efficiently set up and operate cutting machines in our Leicester facility. Join our committed team to contribute to high-quality textile production.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain various textile cutting machines to meet production schedules.
• Adjust machine settings based on cutting requirements and fabric types.
• Conduct quality checks on finished cuts to ensure compliance with standards.
• Assist in training new operators on cutting techniques and machinery.
• Keep accurate logs of production and machine usage.
• Collaborate with the design team to implement any changes in patterns or processes.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the cutting area and equipment.
• Report any discrepancies or accidents to the Production Manager.
• Follow all health and safety regulations relevant to the operation of machinery.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Degree in Textile Engineering or related field is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in textile cutting operations.
