Job Description

As a Subway and Streetcar Operator, you will play a crucial role in the operation and safety of our rapid transit systems. Your primary responsibility will be to operate trains efficiently while ensuring passenger safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate subway and streetcar vehicles while adhering to schedule guidelines.
• Engage with passengers to enhance their experience and ensure safety.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to report and rectify mechanical issues.
• Participate in training and development programs to keep skills updated.
• Conduct emergency drills and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain logs of vehicle performance and passenger feedback.
• Assist in route planning and adjustments as necessary.
• Foster a positive work environment by collaborating effectively with team members.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid RTO license essential

Experience

• Experience in customer service roles highly regarded.

Technical Skills

• GPS Systems
• Radio Communications

Soft Skills

• Calmness under pressure
• Teamwork

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR certification
• Knowledge of emergency response protocols

Languages

• English: Fluent
