As a Subway and Streetcar Operator, you will play a crucial role in the operation and safety of our rapid transit systems. Your primary responsibility will be to operate trains efficiently while ensuring passenger safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
Safely operate subway and streetcar vehicles while adhering to schedule guidelines.
Engage with passengers to enhance their experience and ensure safety.
Work closely with maintenance teams to report and rectify mechanical issues.
Participate in training and development programs to keep skills updated.
Conduct emergency drills and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
Maintain logs of vehicle performance and passenger feedback.
Assist in route planning and adjustments as necessary.
Foster a positive work environment by collaborating effectively with team members.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid RTO license essential
Experience
Experience in customer service roles highly regarded.
