Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Defense Manager to lead our security operations in Aberdeen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to safeguard the company's digital assets while managing a team of cybersecurity professionals. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities and responding to incidents.

Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive risk assessments and reports for executive leadership.
  • Coordinate with IT teams to implement network security measures.
  • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans aligning with security objectives.
  • Monitor security operations and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Engage with law enforcement and external agencies during major incidents.
  • Evaluate and recommend cybersecurity technologies and solutions.
  • Facilitate incident simulation exercises to prepare the team for real-world scenarios.
  • Lead investigations into security breaches and prepare incident reports.
  • Work with HR to screen potential employees for security clearances and background checks.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity is an advantage
