Job Description

As a Research Mechanic, your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive research on mechanics and engineering principles to design, develop, and test novel machinery and equipment. You will also be tasked with maintaining existing machinery and troubleshooting any arising issues, ensuring optimal functionality.

Responsibilities

  • Improve operational efficiency of machinery and equipment.
  • Assist in the training of new personnel on machinery operations.
  • Ensure proper technical documentation is maintained.
  • Analyze data from tests to inform design changes.
  • Implement best practices in engineering processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project progress.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or similar
Experience
  • Experience with robotics and automation is a plus
Technical Skills
  • Experience with sensor technology
  • Familiar with machine learning algorithms
Soft Skills

  • Analytical thinking
Languages
  • English: Fluent
