Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our team in Belfast. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal advice and support across various sectors, ensuring compliance and minimising risks while advancing our business interests.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a variety of contracts and agreements, ensuring the organisation's interests are protected.
• Provide legal training to staff as required, enhancing their understanding of compliance matters.
• Review and revise company policies in relation to legal requirements.
• Assist with corporate governance matters and support company secretarial functions.
• Maintain accurate records of all legal documents and correspondence.
• Report on legal issues to senior management and recommend actions.

Requirements

Education

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in the UK
• Postgraduate qualifications in Law or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a legal capacity, with a focus on corporate law or compliance

Certifications

• Additional qualifications in corporate law or compliance-related certifications

Languages
