Job Description

The Circus Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring that performances run smoothly, and that all performers and staff are safe and supported. This role requires strong leadership skills and a passion for the arts.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of circus performances.
  • Facilitate rehearsals and manage technical crew.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance and safety checks.
  • Liaise with marketing teams to promote events.
  • Manage performer schedules and operational budgets.
  • Attend live performances and adapt logistics as necessary.
  • Implement feedback for performance improvements.
  • Enhance communication between all circus departments.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on safety protocols.
  • Build rapport with performers and foster a supportive environment.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Performing Arts or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5 years in a circus management role or equivalent.
