Job Description

As a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) at Healthcare Solutions Ltd., you will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting a range of medical equipment used in healthcare settings. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment and systems.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on various medical devices.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Maintain and update equipment documentation, including service records and manuals.
• Keep abreast of advancements in biomedical technology.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to healthcare professionals.
• Assist in training and development of junior technicians.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
• Industry certifications such as Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) are preferred

Experience

• Prior experience working with biomedical equipment, preferably in a healthcare setting
