Responsibilities

• Ensure timely completion of all month-end closing processes.
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial projections and strategic plans.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK accounting regulations.
• Support financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Develop and maintain financial databases and spreadsheets.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as needed.
• Engage with department heads for budgeting discussions.
• Foster a culture of financial compliance and accountability.
• Monitor financial performance and report findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Master's degree or professional qualification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in retail
