Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing mechanical systems and will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and simulation of mechanical systems.
• Perform stress analysis and durability testing on designs.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
• Develop prototypes and oversee testing phases.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for parts and materials.
• Support project documentation and compliance activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification in Engineering Management is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and development
