Electrical and Electronics Drafter

Job Description

As an Electrical and Electronics Drafter, you will be tasked with developing detailed PCB designs and layouts, ensuring compliance with industry standards. You’ll collaborate with engineers and manufacturers to ensure designs meet functionality and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update PCB designs according to project requirements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for design changes.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to refine product functionality and prototypes.
• Optimize PCB layouts for performance and manufacturability.
• Conduct thorough analysis to ensure compliance with IPC standards.
• Provide technical support and training to manufacturing teams during production.
• Engage in cross-functional teamwork to troubleshoot and resolve design issues.
• Evaluate new technologies and implement them into the design process.
• Review and assess existing designs for possible improvements.
• Support continuous improvement efforts in design and production methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Higher education in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in PCB design and layout

Technical Skills

• Experience with High-Speed Digital Design
• Knowledge of DFM Principles

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Organizational Skills

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• Certified PCB Designer

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Signal Integrity: Experience ensuring signals maintain their integrity across circuit paths.
• Understanding of EMC Regulations: Knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility standards relevant to PCB design.
