Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Automobile Body Painter where you'll be responsible for painting and finishing vehicles to exacting standards. You will prepare surfaces, manage paint application, and restore vehicles to their original condition while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Match paint colours and mix paints to achieve the desired finish.
• Monitor quality control standards on all completed work.
• Utilise spray guns and other equipment to apply paint efficiently.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Handle materials safely and responsibly to minimise waste.
• Assist junior painters and provide guidance as needed.
• Maintain tools and equipment for optimal performance.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills.
• Document all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.

Requirements

Education

• City and Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Body Painting or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in automobile body painting

Technical Skills

• Experience in custom painting
• Experience working with high-end vehicles
• Experience using high-quality finishing materials

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with modern paint technologies: Familiarity with the latest painting technologies and equipment.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines: Knowledge in automating job processes and improving efficiency.
