Iron Piler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Iron Piler to become an integral part of our construction team. The Iron Piler will be responsible for carefully assembling and positioning structural iron and steel materials, following blueprints and specifications to ensure safety and structural integrity.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently assemble and position structural iron and steel materials.
• Conduct regular inspections of materials and structures for quality assurance.
• Utilize welding and other techniques to secure steel components effectively.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to minimize risk.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project timelines and needs.
• Participate in training sessions for new equipment and safety regulations.
• Assist in the upkeep and maintenance of tools and machinery.
• Contribute to team meetings to discuss progress and share ideas.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification in welding is a plus

Experience

• Prior experience working as an Iron Piler or similar role in the construction industry is preferred.

Advantageous
