Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hot Patcher to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for repairing and maintaining hot mix asphalt pavements, ensuring their longevity and functionality. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the quality of our roadworks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all hot patching repairs meet industry standards.
• Assist in training new team members on safe work practices.
• Report any safety hazards to the site supervisor immediately.
• Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure safe operations.
• Help prepare work schedules and timelines for projects.
• Assist with various road maintenance projects as directed.

Requirements

Education

• Valid driving licence

Experience

• Experience in the construction or asphalt industry is a plus

Technical Skills

• Asphalt Knowledge
• Safety Protocols

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Heavy Machinery Operation (preferable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Prior experience in road maintenance: Hands-on experience in road maintenance can be beneficial.
