Job Description

As a Signal and Track Switch Repairer, you will be integral to maintaining the functionality of critical rail infrastructure. You will diagnose and repair a range of signalling and track switch systems, ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics on signalling and track switch systems to troubleshoot issues.
  • Work collaboratively with teams to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
  • Keep records of repairs and maintenance tasks performed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations.
  • Assist in training new technicians on repair methods.
  • Provide regular updates to the Maintenance Manager on repair status.
  • Keep up with advances in technology related to signalling equipment.
  • Participate in safety reviews and contribute to a culture of safety.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant vocational qualification
  • Degree in Engineering is an advantage
Experience
  • Experience in working with electrical or mechanical systems is preferred.
