As a Signal and Track Switch Repairer, you will be integral to maintaining the functionality of critical rail infrastructure. You will diagnose and repair a range of signalling and track switch systems, ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostics on signalling and track switch systems to troubleshoot issues.
Work collaboratively with teams to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
Keep records of repairs and maintenance tasks performed.
Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations.
Assist in training new technicians on repair methods.
Provide regular updates to the Maintenance Manager on repair status.
Keep up with advances in technology related to signalling equipment.
Participate in safety reviews and contribute to a culture of safety.
Requirements
Education
Relevant vocational qualification
Degree in Engineering is an advantage
Experience
Experience in working with electrical or mechanical systems is preferred.
