Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Pharmacy Consultant to join our expert team in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional pharmaceutical care, advise on medication management, and work collaboratively to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary resource for medication inquiries and adjustments.
• Develop and implement pharmaceutical care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Engage in continuous professional development and training.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff and pharmacy students.
• Utilise electronic health records efficiently to document care provided.
• Address patient complaints and medication-related issues promptly.
• Participate in promotional and educational events to enhance community health.

Requirements

Education

• PhD in Pharmacy or related field is advantageous

Experience

• 5 years or more in clinical pharmacy roles

• Evidence-based Practice

Certifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician
• GPhC Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a care home setting: Experience working with elderly patients in care homes.
