Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and practices, with hands-on experience in protecting digital assets. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security measures to enhance our overall security posture.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough analysis of security incidents and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
• Assist with the deployment of security technologies and tools.
• Conduct training sessions for employees on security protocols.
• Evaluate new cybersecurity tools and technologies for effectiveness.
• Maintain documentation of security processes and configurations.
• Support compliance with GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other security standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles
