Job Description

We are actively seeking a Construction Supervisor to lead our projects in Rochdale, specifically within the agriculture and food production sector. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in overseeing construction operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing onsite teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction schedules and site operations effectively.
• Support and mentor junior staff within the team.
• Ensure all materials are delivered to site on schedule.
• Engage with local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure compliance.
• Implementing quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site assessments and risk assessments regularly.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Reporting project progress and any issues to upper management.
• Participating in planning and execution of project timelines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in the construction industry, especially in agricultural projects
