Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed land surveyor to join our team. As a licensed land surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting precise measurements and surveys of land areas to identify boundaries and prepare accurate documentation. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure accurate land measurements throughout projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute boundary surveys and prepare legal descriptions.
• Collaborate with local authorities to obtain and maintain surveying permits.
• Develop and implement best practices for surveying operations within the team.
• Create and review data analysis reports from GIS and survey outputs.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project timelines and deliverables.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying.

Technical Skills

• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• AutoCAD
• Global Positioning System (GPS)

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Licensed Land Surveyor in the UK
• Membership of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Proficiency in using advanced surveying software and tools: Familiarity with tools like ArcGIS and QGIS for data management.
