Job Description

As a Wooden Barrel Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing wooden barrels used in the wine and spirits sector. Your expertise in woodworking will ensure our barrels are always in prime condition, contributing to the high-quality product our customers expect.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and repair wooden barrels for leaks and other damages.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
  • Train junior team members on barrel maintenance and safety practices.
  • Assist in inventory management of wood supplies.
  • Prepare barrels for quality testing and ensure they meet production standards.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational training in woodworking or carpentry is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in woodworking, with specific barrel-making experience highly preferred.
