Job Description

As a Stoker at Engage Energy Solutions, you'll be instrumental in maintaining and operating our steam boilers and related equipment. Your role will be vital in ensuring efficient and safe operations while adhering to industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Control and maintain the operational parameters of steam boilers, including fuel supply.
  • Adjust boiler settings to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance tasks on all relevant equipment.
  • Respond to alarms and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of fuel consumption and emissions data.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to promptly resolve any equipment failures.
  • Participate in safety drills and training workshops to enhance personal and team safety.
  • Document and report any discrepancies in operations to management.
  • Assist in the integration of new technologies and processes that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing operational costs.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent
  • Additional technical qualifications are a plus
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in boiler operation or a related field
