Job Description

We are currently looking for compassionate and dedicated Childcare Workers to join our team. As a Childcare Worker, you will provide essential care and supervision for children, ensuring their safety and well-being while engaging in meaningful activities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor children's health and safety during activities.
• Develop and implement engaging activities that promote learning.
• Assist with the personal care of children, including hygiene routines.
• Encourage positive behaviour and provide conflict resolution.
• Keep the play area tidy and organized.
• Provide feedback to parents regularly regarding children's behaviour and progress.
• Follow all policies regarding child protection and safeguarding.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Support children with special educational needs as appropriate.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification preferred

Experience

• Experience in childcare settings preferred.

Technical Skills

• Behavior Management
• Activity Planning

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Creativity

Certifications

• First Aid and CPR certification
• DBS Check

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluency in another language: Ability to communicate in a second language, beneficial for diverse children.
• Experience with special educational needs: Experience supporting children with additional learning needs.
