Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have experience in grooming a variety of breeds and a passion for providing outstanding pet care.

Responsibilities

• Complete grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming.
• Educate pet owners about grooming needs and pet care.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and managing client relations.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and sanitized after each use.
• Work collaboratively with team members to create a friendly environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Grooming school certification preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of grooming experience in a professional setting

Technical Skills

• Scissoring Techniques
• De-shedding Tools

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Canine Good Citizen Certification
• Pet Care Technician Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to work with special needs pets: Experience in handling and grooming pets with special needs.
