Job Description

We are on the lookout for a passionate Pet Groomer to join our dedicated team in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be adept at providing grooming services for a variety of pets, ensuring they leave looking and feeling their best. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe grooming environment while delivering excellent customer service to pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all grooming tools are sanitized and properly stored.
• Conduct pre-grooming consultations to assess pet needs.
• Train junior staff and apprentices in grooming techniques as needed.
• Assist in marketing efforts by showcasing groomed pets on social media and in promotional material.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving service.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Grooming diploma/degree

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in pet grooming or related field

Technical Skills

• Grooming Skills
• First Aid for Pets

Certifications

• Certified Animal Care Provider

Languages

• English: Fluent
