Are you passionate about working with children? We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Worker in Belfast to assist in the day-to-day operations of our childcare facility. You will play an integral role in providing a safe and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their wellbeing and development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities and child supervision.
• Design and lead educational programs tailored to various age groups.
• Assist with children's personal care needs effectively.
• Build strong relationships with children and their families.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of play areas.
• Foster a nurturing and supportive environment.
• Provide feedback to parents on children's development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve childcare goals.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant childcare qualifications
• Degree in Early Childhood Education is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a nursery or childcare role

Technical Skills

• Child Behaviour Management
• Health and Safety Standards

Soft Skills

• Empathy

Certifications

• Playwork Principles Certificate
• Food Hygiene Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Working knowledge of child safeguarding practices: Solid understanding of safeguarding protocols and procedures.
• Experience with extracurricular activities: Experience in organizing and leading extracurricular activities for children.
