Lab Operations Specialist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Lab Operations Specialist to manage and streamline laboratory processes in Ipswich. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the overall efficiency of laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operational meetings to assess workflow.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of laboratory tests and results.
• Maintain laboratory certification and accreditation standards.
• Support the development of new laboratory procedures.
• Assist in budget management for laboratory resources.
• Foster a culture of safety and compliance within the team.
• Develop strategic plans to enhance laboratory capabilities.
• Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in laboratory practices.
• Manage personnel performance and development plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or a related discipline
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in laboratory operations

Languages

Advantageous
