Cartoon Animator

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented Cartoon Animator to join our creative team. As an animator, you will bring characters and stories to life using various animation techniques, contributing to high-quality, visually appealing 2D animations.

Responsibilities

• Develop storyboards and create animations for character movements and interactions.
• Work with the creative director to maintain the vision of the animated series.
• Revise animations based on feedback from team leads.
• Assist in the design and creation of character rigs for more efficient animation.
• Manage and organize animation files and resources effectively.
• Help troubleshoot and solve technical issues that arise during the animation process.
• Share knowledge and techniques with junior animators to aid their development.
• Incorporate feedback from test screenings to refine animations.
• Create prototypes and test animations to set the pace of animation.
• Document the animation process and update technical files.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Animation or Fine Arts is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in animation.

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in lip-syncing and facial animation.: Proven experience creating realistic lip-syncing and facial expressions in animations.
• Knowledge of 3D animation techniques and software.: Familiarity with 3D animation tools to complement 2D skills.
• Experience in creating animations for children's entertainment or educational content.: Experience working on projects aimed at children or educational purposes is a plus.
