Job Description

As an Interior Layout Designer, you will utilise your creativity and technical skills to develop innovative interior layouts for various residential and commercial projects. You will collaborate with architects and clients to ensure designs meet their vision and functional requirements. Your expertise in space planning will be crucial in crafting efficient and appealing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design workshops to gather inspiration and ensure alignment with client objectives.
• Coordinate with the project management team to maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Research and source sustainable materials that meet environmental standards.
• Provide expert advice on space planning to ensure compliance with building codes and accessibility.
• Support the marketing team by contributing design ideas for promotional materials and client pitches.
• Mentor junior designers and interns, providing feedback on their designs and professional growth.
• Regularly attend design seminars and workshops to further enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Interior Architecture or similar
• Postgraduate qualification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in interior design or architecture

Technical Skills

• 3D Rendering
• Material Selection

Certifications

• National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ)
• BIM Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
