Job Description

As a Universal Grinder Set-Up Operator, you will set up and operate advanced grinding machines that play a critical role in the production of precision metal components. Your expertise will ensure that our products meet stringent quality standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure and tune universal grinding machines for optimal performance.
• Read technical drawings and translate them into effective grinding operations.
• Choose proper tools and grinding materials for specific tasks.
• Efficiently operate machines to produce high-quality finished parts.
• Regularly check machine performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Ensure quality checks are performed at each stage of the grinding process.
• Maintain work area and machines to prevent accidents and enhance productivity.
• Engage with team members to discuss ongoing projects and resolve production challenges.
• Document all work processes and ensure compliance with production standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in machining or engineering

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Languages
