We are seeking an IT Audit Specialist to join our Bristol-based team. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive audits, assess compliance, and implement strategies to improve our IT processes. This role is vital in identifying risk areas and recommending necessary improvements.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough audits of IT infrastructure, applications, and security measures.
• Evaluate existing IT policies and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
• Work closely with IT teams to rectify identified issues and implement corrective measures.
• Develop audit methodologies and best practices for future audits.
• Engage with third-party service providers to ensure compliance and effective governance.
• Stay updated on the latest IT regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Strong preference for IT security certifications (e.g., CISSP)

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in IT audit or compliance roles
