Join our dedicated team as a Floor Layer, where you will be responsible for installing high-quality flooring materials such as vinyl and laminate. You'll work in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring that each project meets our clients' specifications and high standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform site assessments to understand project requirements and scope.
• Use precision tools for cutting and fitting materials.
• Handle heavy lifting to transport flooring materials to installation sites.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns.
• Document installation process and any issues encountered.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant vocational training is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in flooring installation.

Technical Skills

• Ability to lift heavy materials
• Ability to read and interpret floor plans

Soft Skills

• Flexibility and adaptability

Certifications

• Health and safety certifications.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of various flooring materials: Familiarity with carpet, hardwood, vinyl, and tile installations.
• Sales experience is an advantage: Ability to upsell flooring options and provide recommendations.
