UX Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented UX Designer to join our creative team in Cardiff. This role is focused on enhancing user experience for our innovative products. You will be working collaboratively with developers and product managers to create user-centered designs that meet business goals and user needs.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead the UX design process by ensuring a user-centered approach.
• Analyse usability tests and iterate on designs accordingly.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to drive design vision.
• Create design documentation to hand off to the development team.
• Mentor junior designers to enhance team skillsets.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a UX role

Technical Skills

• Figma
• Adobe Creative Suite

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Flexibility

Certifications

• Google UX Design Professional Certificate
• Human-Computer Interaction Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with accessibility standards: Knowledge of designing for accessibility to ensure inclusive products.
• Experience using A/B testing: Ability to conduct A/B tests to optimise user interfaces and experiences.
