Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist to enhance our laboratory team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in clinical laboratory procedures and techniques, performing a range of laboratory tests and analyses to contribute to effective patient diagnosis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyses to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as necessary.
  • Prepare and evaluate patient samples for testing and report findings accurately.
  • Provide guidance to junior staff on laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Participate in quality control and assurance processes to uphold lab standards.
  • Work with healthcare teams to interpret results and provide insights.
  • Develop and document laboratory protocols for new procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines and safety standards.
  • Manage inventory and replenish laboratory supplies efficiently.
  • Foster a team-oriented atmosphere of collaboration and professionalism.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science
  • Specialized training in medical laboratory techniques is preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory environment
