Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Cardiff. Your role will involve developing and implementing health programs aimed at improving community health outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health policy, epidemiology, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead community outreach efforts to promote health screenings and vaccination programs.
  • Coordinate health promotion campaigns aimed at specific demographics.
  • Assess public health needs through surveys and community feedback.
  • Maintain relationships with healthcare providers to facilitate resource sharing.
  • Develop educational materials on health-related topics for the public.
  • Conduct training and workshops for community health workers and volunteers.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's in Public Health (MPH) preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in public health or a related field
