Job Description

A reputable company is seeking a skilled Inspector to join their team. The Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance quality control and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings for structural integrity and safety compliance.
• Document findings and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Advise management on compliance issues and necessary corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineers to address quality and compliance challenges.
• Attend project meetings to discuss compliance status and concerns.
• Coordinate with external inspection bodies as required.
• Collect samples and conduct tests to ensure material quality.
• Establish and update inspection criteria and checklists.

Requirements

Education

• Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Construction or related field
• Degree in Building Surveying or related field is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience with knowledge of building regulations

Technical Skills

• Technical drawing interpretation
• Proficiency in inspection tools

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) membership
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent
