Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Engineer to join our team in Liverpool. You will work on a variety of projects aimed at developing sustainable chemical processes and improving overall production efficiency. Your role will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and applying innovative solutions to complex challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and improve production efficiency through process optimisation.
  • Lead investigations into deviations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for raw material procurement and quality assurance.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior management on project statuses.
  • Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
  • Utilize modelling software to simulate processes and predict outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including environmental standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or relevant discipline
  • Master's degree in a related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry
