Job Description

As a Supply Chain Manager in Birmingham, you will be responsible for managing and improving our supply chain operations. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments to ensure seamless logistics and maintain our high standards of service.

Responsibilities

  • Direct logistics operations ensuring timely delivery of goods.
  • Analyze data to formulate effective supply chain management strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
  • Implement best practices to optimize the supply chain.
  • Train and mentor supply chain staff to foster a high-performing team.
  • Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
  • Coordinate logistics with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Create and manage budgets for supply chain operations.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on supply chain performance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Logistics
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in supply chain management or logistics
