Coppersmith / Sheet Metal Worker

Job Description

We are on the lookout for skilled Coppersmiths/Sheet Metal Workers who will be responsible for creating and repairing copper objects. This hands-on role demands a keen eye for detail and extensive knowledge of metalworking techniques.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality control of materials and finished products.
• Utilise hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Work closely with clients to understand their custom requirements.
• Participate in training sessions for new techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Proven experience or apprenticeship in metalworking
• Knowledge of other metalworking trades such as blacksmithing or welding is advantageous

Experience

• Experience working with different types of copper alloys and tools

Technical Skills

• Use of Hand and Power Tools
• Bespoke Design

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of other metalworking techniques: Any additional skills related to welding or blacksmithing will be beneficial.
• Ability to work with brass or bronze materials: Experience with various metal types is a plus.
