Natural Resources Engineer

Job Description

A Natural Resources Engineer is responsible for overseeing the exploration, development, and management of natural resources such as oil, gas, minerals, and water. The successful candidate will leverage their engineering expertise to assess project feasibility and design implementation strategies for effective natural resource management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate site conditions and develop site-specific resource management plans.
• Recommend technologies and methods for efficient resource extraction.
• Prepare budget estimates and project schedules for client proposals.
• Implement safety measures and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project execution.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Professional engineering certification (e.g. PE license) is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in natural resource engineering or a related field
