Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will provide technical support to our clients, troubleshoot various hardware and software issues, and help maintain a high level of service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide technical support on-site and remotely.
  • Assist with software installations and troubleshooting problems.
  • Conduct user training sessions and workshops.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on system upgrades and installations.
  • Support disaster recovery efforts and backup systems.
  • Monitor IT systems for security vulnerabilities.
  • Implement preventative maintenance protocols for hardware.
  • Provide recommendations for IT purchases and upgrades.
  • Engage in continuous learning to enhance professional skills.

Requirements

Education
  • HND in Information Technology or related field
  • Additional certifications in IT support are advantageous
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support role
