Grain Roaster

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Grain Roaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and an excellent palate for flavour profiling. You will be responsible for the production of high-quality roasted beans and ensuring consistency in taste and texture.

Responsibilities

• Monitor roasting cycles and adjust profiles for optimal results.
• Conduct sensory evaluations to assess roasts and refine profiles.
• Provide feedback to suppliers on bean quality and sourcing.
• Assist in the development of new coffee blends and flavours.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional qualifications in coffee roasting or food science preferred

Experience

• At least 1-2 years of experience in coffee roasting or a related field.

Advantageous
