Job Description

We are actively seeking skilled Electrical and Electronics Repairers to maintain and repair equipment in our substations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and relays, primarily focusing on operational reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
• Evaluate critical electrical systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Engage in on-the-job training to enhance skillsets and knowledge.
• Coordinate with suppliers for parts and equipment as required.
• Ensure tools and workspaces are maintained in a safe, clean manner.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• HNC/HND in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• Degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience with electrical systems

Technical Skills

• Emergency response
• Preventative maintenance

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time management

Certifications

• Electrical Installation Certificate
• C&G 2365 Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installations

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Competency in autoCAD: Familiarity with CAD software for electrical schematics.
• Project management skills: Experience in leading small teams and managing electrical projects.
