Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Air Traffic Controller in Manchester to oversee aircraft operations and ensure the safety of all air activities. The ideal candidate will have outstanding situational awareness, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of air traffic control for Manchester Airport.
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
  • Engage in regular communication with emergency services when necessary.
  • Promote a culture of safety and vigilance within the control tower.
  • Evaluate and improve air traffic control processes and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with a diverse team of aviation professionals.
  • Stay current with air traffic control technologies and practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management or related field
  • Air Traffic Control Certificate is mandatory
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of air traffic control experience with a proven track record
