Job Description

The Aerospace Control and Warning Systems Superintendent will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of critical control and warning systems within the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will manage a team and ensure compliance with stringent safety standards, while also optimising system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational integrity of aerospace control and warning systems.
  • Conduct training sessions to ensure operator proficiency.
  • Ensure all operations adhere to safety regulations.
  • Work closely with other departments to enable seamless integration of systems.
  • Regularly inspect systems to pre-emptively address issues.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for services and equipment.
  • Assess and implement system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Maintain compliance records for audits.
  • Facilitate troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field
  • Professional certifications in aerospace engineering would be an advantage
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in aerospace systems maintenance and 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
